They stand proudly in front of the pigeon loft in the back yard of their home where winning pigeons returned home from seven 200-mile races that began in New Braunfels last week. Ron holds a Blue Bar Splash pigeon in hand that returned home that morning. |

The group meets there once a week on Wednesday for 15 rounds of bingo and free breakfast sandwiches and coffee compliments of the restaurant.

Bingo is the only way to go for many game-loving Burlesonites. A number of area residents have standing appointments to play bingo at McDonald’s restaurants throughout the city.

There is nothing like the feeling you get when you are able to reunite a lost dog with its anxious owners. Huguley Memorial Medical Center employee Sheri Pettit experienced this heart warming feeling several months ago when she helped to reunite Lucious, a frisky Sharpei mix, with the loving family who adopted him from the Humane Society of North Texas earlier this year.
