Lack of depth a problem at Centennial

Following Monday’s practice, Centennial football coach Kyle Geller was blunt with his team.

Geller told the Spartans that right now they are soft.

“We practiced soft on Monday,” Geller said. “What I want to see is them getting after it up front.”

Geller’s main concern heading into Friday’s spring game at 6 p.m. at Centennial’s on-campus field is the lack of depth. Geller said the lack of depth could force the coaches to alter the format of the spring game.

“We just don’t have the all-around depth that we had last year,” Geller said.
