Playing at the Midlothian Heritage Invitationa, Burleson's volleyball team went 2-1 in pool play. The Lady Elks defated West Mesquite, 25-16, 25-15, and Venus, 25-8, 25-7.
After reaching the gold bracket at Abilene’s Bev Ball Classic in its first tournament of the season things didn’t go as well for Burleson’s volleyball team over the weekend.
