Ghost tour raises funds for the Burleson Heritage Foundation
The witching hour began a couple of hours before midnight when the Burleson Historical Ghost Tour team led by Pat Dexheimer gathered the eager participants at Accents in Old Town.
About 25 true believers were there to hear Angelyn, a medium, identify and explain the ghostly presence of the departed.
The investigation team came armed with sensitive sound equipment, energy detectors, and precautionary Holy Water.
The tour was all in the spirit (pardon the pun) of fun to raise funds for the Burleson Heritage Foundation Museum, and to entertain the crowd by engaging with some of Burleson’s more celebrated ghosts.
Ghost Tours take place every Friday and Saturday night. The tour starts at the Burleson Visitors Center at 124 W. Ellison Street.
Tours begin at 7:30 p.m. and can last up to 2.5 hours.
If desired, the Baker House can be visited at the end of the tour. A visit to the Baker House will require an additional hour.
Tickets are $10 for adults (cash only please). Group rates are available for 10 or more.
