BHS Fine Arts Department presents “Legally Blonde: The Musical”
Legally Blonde is the story of Elle Woods who, after being dumped by her boyfriend, decides to follow him to Harvard Law School to win him back. Elle does not exactly fit in at Harvard and struggles with classes and convincing Warner she is his perfect marriage partner. With encouragement, Elle finds that she likes studying law, and she can be successful if she actually studies. When Elle is chosen as an intern to help defend workout queen, Brooke Wyndham, she wins over the client, wins the case, and finds her true purpose in life – not mention the perfect guy for her.
The BHS production features Hannah Joslyn as Elle Woods, Jeremy Baugh as Emmett, Cole Whitehurst as Warner, Tyson Cartwright as Callahan, Malorie Hogan as Brooke Wyndham, and Zoe Dawson as Paulette.
Performances of “Legally Blonde: The Musical” are today, Friday and Saturday at 7 pm and at 2 pm on Sunday in the Burleson High School Auditorium.
Tickets are $8 in advanced and $10 at the door. Advanced tickets can be purchased online at tinyurl.com/burlesonchoir.
