Former JCSO deputy arrested for aggravated sexual assault of a child
Former Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Toby Bryce Allison was arrested Friday morning by JCSO detectives on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child, according to a JCSO press release.
Allison, 23, who had been on administrative leave, was terminated Friday morning and arrested shortly after that. Allison was brought before a 413th District Judge William Bosworth for arraignment and the bond was set at $100,000
The arrest was made following a tip from a concerned resident Aug. 14 regarding alleged sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl.
Allison was placed on administrative leave and an internal investigation was started.
A criminal investigation ensued with help from the Texas Rangers.
According to the release, the victim and her family were found and a forensic interview was conducted with the girl that resulted in an outcry of sexual misconduct against Allison.
The reported offense took place while Allison was off duty.
