New organization announces its officers

The newly formed Salvation Army Women’s Service League of Johnson County announced its new officers. The WSL of Johnson County held its first meeting in September with 10 joining as founders.

The WSL is an elite group of Ladies with a servants heart and who are community minded.

They will receive their charter at the Nov. 28th meeting to be presented by Major Susan Brown, with the state of Texas Divisional Headquarters. The WSL of Johnson County’s newly elected members are President Candy Gonzalez; First Vice President (membership) Cindy Cheney; Second Vice President (programs) Janet Hanna; Third Vice President (projects) Sharon Kimberlin; Fourth Vice President (ways and means) Jennifer Craft;  Recording Secretary Virginia Wills; Corresponding Secretary:  Sue Spain; Treasurer (temporary) Jan Bower; Chaplin:  Pam Coym; Parliamentarian Chloe Steinhagen and Publicist Sandra Callaway.
