Bank heist suspect still on the loose

Friday afternoon, a lone suspect entered the National Bank of Texas located at 400 East Renfro Street and passed a note demanding money.

The robber didn’t display a weapon during the incident and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, according to city of Burleson Marketing and Communications Director DeAnna Phillps.

The suspect is a white male and was wearing a gray hat with a denim shirt and denim pants. He left the scene in blue vehicle with no back license plate.

“It was so quick that we don’t have a lot to work with,” Burleson Police Sgt. Wes Routson said. “We have images and right now we are hoping someone recognizes him and give us a tip.”

If you have any information on the suspect please contact Johnson County Crime Stoppers at 800-794-8477.

The Burleson Police Department released several images of the bank robbery suspect and his vehicle.
