Bank heist suspect still on the loose
Friday afternoon, a lone suspect entered the National Bank of Texas located at 400 East Renfro Street and passed a note demanding money.
The robber didn’t display a weapon during the incident and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, according to city of Burleson Marketing and Communications Director DeAnna Phillps.
The suspect is a white male and was wearing a gray hat with a denim shirt and denim pants. He left the scene in blue vehicle with no back license plate.
“It was so quick that we don’t have a lot to work with,” Burleson Police Sgt. Wes Routson said. “We have images and right now we are hoping someone recognizes him and give us a tip.”
