Her greatest joy in life was the births of her son, Charles Raymond, and her daughter, Cathy Ann. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was active in many church activities, including teaching, hospitality, and caring for elderly members. She never met a stranger. Finally at rest, she will carry on with the joy, love, and true expertise for gardening in God’s beautiful garden.

Survivors include her son, Charles McCulley and wife, Peggy, of Arlington; daughter, Cathy Tindall, of Alvarado; sister, Helen Merritt, of Paris; grandchildren, Andy Tindall, Emily Burke and Monty McCulley; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
