BURLESON - Pearl Harp passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wed., April 11, 2018.
The graveside service was 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018, in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation was 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2018, at Mount Olivet.
"Ms. Pearl", as she was known by everyone was born Sept. 10, 1929, to David and Viva May Fain, in Honeygrove. She worked for Tandy Corp. for 30 years before her retirement.
Pearl loved life, but above all, she loved her family and would do anything she could to help. She was a wonderful cook, loved to make candles, collect dolls, and go to flea markets and garage sales. Pearl never met a stranger and was loved by all who met her.
The last few years she was blessed to have loving and caring friends at Covington Church of Christ, where she attended with her daughter and son-in-law.
Her family expresses their gratitude to Asana Hospice and the staff at Crowley Nursing facility; especially to the loving, caring nurses and aides that helped with making her last days comfortable.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, George Pipkin and Bob Harp; grandson, Aaron Stowe; and two brothers.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Stowe and husband, Randy; grandson, Matthew Stowe; four great-grandchildren, Brendon, Greyson, Jade and Hayden; and friend and soul mate of many years, Eugene Luper.
