VIRGINIA ROSE PAYNE KRANIAK
Virginia Rose Payne Kraniak, 83, of Burleson, went to be with her Savior on Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at 2:57 a.m., in Fort Worth.
Memorial services are 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, at Cana Baptist Church, 230 E. Renfro Street, in Burleson. Pastor Kevin Jordan will officiate. Interment will follow at a later date at Rosemound Cemetery, 3201 S. 12th Street, Waco.
Virginia Rose Payne Kraniak was born April 7, 1934, in Waco, to Andrew Jackson “Burr” Payne and Ora Myrtle Nixon Payne.
She retired from the
Fort Worth State School. Virginia was an avid history buff, football fanatic, world traveler, and, most importantly, a Christian. She was a loving sister, mother, and grandmother, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; son, Andrew Dean Kraniak; and seven siblings.
Survivors include her children, Vincent Ray Harper, of Cleburne, Robert Earl Marley, of Aurora, Colorado, Alan Gerald Marley and wife,
Leslie, of Parker, Colorado; Irene Regina Marley, of Apple Valley, California, Alicia Marley Richeson and husband, Wayne, of Burleson, and Louann Kraniak, widow of Andrew Dean Kraniak, of Greenville; siblings, Margaret "Maggie" Broyles and husband, Billy, of Wimberley, and Mary Erickson, of Pasadena; and 14 grandchildren.
