Burleson’s Hauch hurls another gem

Cameron Hauch seems to like pitching on Tuesday night.

The Burleson senior scattered six hits, allowed an unearned run and struck out 13 in a 6-1 complete game win over Mansfield Timberview in District 5-5A play.

Hauch allowed a run in the second inning. The senior also picked off a pair of runners in the win.

The Elks (13-3-1, 2-1) scored in each of the first four innings to support Hauch.

Burleson hosts Timberview Friday. The Elks are at Arlington Seguin Tuesday and host Seguin March 29.

Elks split series with Mansfield Legacy

Hauch got the Elks off to a good start in District 5-5A play with a two-hit, shutout victory.

Friday night things didn’t go as well for the Elks as Legacy won a 12-2 six-inning run-rule district game.
