Enis had many people to thank for getting the race to go off without a hitch.

He praised city of Burleson Athletic Maintenance Supervisor Jeff Scott who had everything at Chisenhall Field in perfect shape.

Many of the coaches at Burleson helped run the event. The Burleson Cross Country Booster Club handled the pavilion area and Jeff Smith provided the announcing and played music.

“It takes a team to run an event this big,” Enis said. “We had 52 schools and over 1,800 runners here this year. I was pleased with how it went off.”
